Identities of those behind Iran’s girls school attack established, media says
The identities of those involved in the killing of children in the Iranian city of Minab have been reportedly established, according to sources cited by the news outlet Khabar Fouri.
The report said the pilots involved, the airbase from which they operated and the country they came from had all been identified.
According to the sources, measures have already been taken to respond to the incident, with further details expected to be made public in the near future.
Earlier, U.S. representatives said Washington was not involved in a strike on a primary school for girls, stressing that its military actions were directed solely against what they described as the “criminal Iranian regime.”
The Shajareh Tayyebeh girls’ school in Minab, southern Iran, was struck on February 28, the first day of U.S. and Israeli attacks in the country, killing 160 children.
