IDF, Shin Bet eliminate head of Mujahideen Brigades in Gaza

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and Shin Bet announced the killing of Misbah Salim Misbah Daiya, head of the militant group “Kataib al-Mujahideen” (“Mujahideen Brigades”) in the Gaza Strip, who incited attacks in Judea and Samaria.

According to the army’s press service, quotes by Caliber.Az, Daiya lived in the Nuseirat area in central Gaza. He led the “Mujahideen Brigades” for several months following the elimination of three previous leaders of the organisation in Gaza.

Daiya was responsible not only for the activities of his group in Gaza but also assisted in organising attacks in Judea and Samaria.
