Iran holds secret oil export routes, adviser claims
25 May 2026 12:09
Masoumeh Aghapour, an economic adviser to Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, has stated that Iran’s oil exports cannot be driven down to zero despite ongoing pressure and sanctions.
Aghapour noted that Iran maintains alternative export channels and oil infrastructure outside Kharg Island and the country’s southern export terminals, although she did not disclose further specifics, Iran International reports.
“We have other routes and other oil resources in other regions for exports, which we are not going to reveal,” she said.
