Iran’s new president pledges adherence to vision of Islamic revolution leader

Addressing his endorsement ceremony on July 28, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian declared that his administration will faithfully follow the vision and general policies set forth by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.

"We honor the memory of the late architect of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, Imam Khomeini (RA), and the noble martyrs of Iran, especially martyr Lt-Gen Qassem Soleimani," Caliber.Az reports via Pezeshkian, who paid homage to the figures who have shaped Iran's contemporary history, as carried by foreign media.

Pezeshkian expressed gratitude for the foresight of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, which facilitated the robust participation of the nation in the 14th presidential elections.

"Today, by endorsing the presidential decree, the leader has officially made me obliged to carry out a great responsibility towards the entire nation of Iran," the newly endorsed president noted.

Emphasizing his commitment to the leader's directives, Pezeshkian said.

"From now on, the new government must follow the path, vision, and general policies explained by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution."

He elaborated on the vision of the Islamic Republic, which aims to position Iran as a developed country with leading economic, scientific, and technological status in the region.

President Pezeshkian also underscored the significance of unity and national consensus in his address. "It is our unity and cohesion that can bring us to our original position," he emphasized, highlighting the crucial role of solidarity in achieving national goals.
