Armenian vendor thanks PM Pashinyan for microbusiness tax benefits
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan visited the Vayots Dzor region as part of another regional trip carried out together with members of the Civil Contract Party.
During the visit, Pashinyan stopped at the market in Aghavnadzor and later shared a video of the encounter, according to Armenpress.
In the footage, one of the market vendors invited the prime minister into her small trading stall and thanked him for the preferential taxation system introduced for microenterprises.
The woman explained that she also cares for a person with a first-degree disability and said the tax policy has enabled her to continue working.
“You created microbusinesses, thanks to which I can work and support a sick person,” she told Pashinyan.
In response, the Armenian prime minister said that the government’s policy is aimed at supporting small businesses rather than placing pressure on them.
The vendor replied: “Personally, you helped me very much.”
