Iran warns of “war of annihilation” if Israel attacks Lebanon
Iran's UN mission has issued a stark warning that a "war of annihilation" will commence if Israel proceeds with an attack on Lebanon.
The statement, posted on Iran's UN office's X account, indicates that Iran is prepared to involve all resistance fronts in the conflict, Caliber.Az reports.
Albeit Iran deems as psychological warfare the Zionist regime’s propaganda about intending to attack Lebanon, should it embark on full-scale military aggression, an obliterating war will ensue. All options, incl. the full involvement of all Resistance Fronts, are on the table.

The post described Israel's intentions to launch a ground operation against Hezbollah forces in Lebanon as psychological warfare. However, it emphasized that any full-scale military aggression by Israel would trigger a severe and comprehensive response.
"Albeit Iran deems as psychological warfare the Zionist regime’s propaganda about intending to attack Lebanon, should it embark on full-scale military aggression, an obliterating war will ensue. All options, incl. the full involvement of all Resistance Fronts, are on the table," the statement reads.
This warning follows comments from the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, US Air Force General Charles Q. Brown, who previously cautioned that an Israeli offensive in Lebanon could provoke a response from Iran, potentially escalating the conflict and drawing in Hezbollah and other allied forces.
