Kazakhstan blocks Russian TV channel’s website for "promoting extremism"
Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Information and Public Development has decided to block the website of the Russian TV channel Tsargrad.
The reason for this decision is the repeated placement of materials on the portal, which the Kazakh authorities regard as "propaganda of extremism", Kommersant.
In the section "Check the website" on the Ministry’s portal, it is indicated that the website of the TV channel was blocked for "propaganda of extremism".
It is also indicated that earlier the authorities of the republic issued four official orders to the "Tsargrad" - the last of them concerned the article published on the channel's website "Kazakh nationalists terrorize Russian women on the eve of Victory Day. The other orders issued to Tsargrad also concerned the publication of materials mentioning "Kazakh nationalists".
According to the Kazakh publication Orda, at the moment the site of "Tsargrad" is completely blocked in all regions of the country.
