Kremlin rejects Trump’s claim of Russia–China–North Korea "plot" against US
The Kremlin has rejected suggestions by US President Donald Trump that Russia, China and North Korea are conspiring against the United States.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Moscow hoped the American leader’s remarks were not meant seriously, Caliber.Az reports via Russian media.
“We would like to believe this was said in a figurative sense, especially given that no one is engaged in any plots,” Peskov told reporters.
He added that Russia’s ties with China and North Korea, as well as cooperation in multilateral forums such as the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation and BRICS, were aimed at mutual benefit rather than directed against any country.
President Trump had earlier commented on a military parade in Beijing, using his Truth Social platform to address Chinese President Xi Jinping.
“Please give my warmest regards to Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong-un, as you conspire against The United States of America,” Trump wrote.
