Majority of Ukrainians confident in victory Poll data
In mid-June, 93% of respondents are confident that Ukraine will be able to repel a Russian attack.
Despite the high level of confidence in victory, the respondents are more "sober" about the timing of achieving victory in the war, RBC-Ukraine reports with reference to the survey data of the Sociological group "Rating".
According to the survey, today the majority (67%) believe that victory takes at least six months, or even more time (in particular, 18% - more than a year).
A quarter of respondents (25%) believe in victory in a few months, and about 6% believe in a few weeks.
In March, most Ukrainians thought it would take weeks or months to win.
The survey was conducted on June 18-19, 2022 throughout Ukraine, with the exception of the territories of Crimea and Donbas temporarily occupied by Russia, as well as territories where there is no Ukrainian mobile communication at the time of the survey.
Sample population: 1200 respondents. Survey method: CATI (Computer Assisted Telephone Interviews - telephone interviews using a computer).
The representativeness error of the study with a confidence level of 0.95: no more than 2.8%.
