NATO should be ready for any scenario regarding Russia - Polish Defence Ministry

Polish National Defence Minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz has said that NATO countries need to be ready for any scenarios in relations with Russia.

In an interview with Polsat TV channel, he commented on the article by Bild that the German defence ministry has developed a scenario of a possible war between NATO and Russia.

"We must be ready for any scenario," Kosiniak-Kamysz said. He added that the government will continue its efforts to modernize the Polish army. In 2024, the budget of the country's defence ministry will increase by 20 per cent to 119 billion zlotys ($29.5 billion).
