Netflix stops working in Russia without VPN
The Netflix streaming service has become unavailable to Russian users without connecting to VPN services.
“There is a problem with connecting to Netflix. Please try again later,” TASS reports referring to the service notification while entering the mobile application.
Netflix’s web version is also unavailable to Russian users.
TASS sent a request to the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Media (Roskomnadzor) with a request to explain the reasons for the problems with this service in Russia.
Netflix suspended work in Russia in connection with the events around Ukraine in early March 2022. Earlier, the company's management also announced that Netflix would not broadcast 20 Russian federal channels of the first and second multiplex, despite the requirement of Russian legislation.
