North Korean leader’s sister accuses US of responsibility for drone violations
Kim Yo-Jong, sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un, believes that the responsibility for the recent infiltration of South Korean drones into Pyongyang rests with the US.
"We know that the incidents involving drone incursions into Pyongyang are orchestrated by the remnants of the military agencies of the Republic of Korea," she stated, Caliber.Az reports, citing foreign media.
"As a nuclear state faces violations of its sovereignty due to the individuals trained by the Americans, the blame for these actions lies squarely with their handlers," the deputy director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea said.
Earlier, Kim Yo Jong accused South Korea of deliberately shirking responsibility for the reported incursions of South Korean drones over Pyongyang. She warned that a “terrible calamity” could occur if these actions persist.
Her remarks followed a statement from North Korea's Foreign Ministry, which claimed that South Korean drones carrying anti-North Korean propaganda were spotted over the capital on October 3 and from October 9-10.
The ministry announced that North Korean forces would be ready to use “all means of attack” to target the southern border and the South Korean military, pledging to respond without warning if South Korean drones are detected in their airspace again.
