Ukraine shoots down dozens of Russian drones in overnight attack PHOTO
Ukrainian forces have successfully intercepted dozens of Russian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) during an overnight assault on February 4.
The attack, which began at 19:00 local time on February 3, involved 105 strike drones, including Shahed, Gerbera, and Italmas models, of which 70 were Shaheds, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Ukrainian Air Force.
Ukraine’s air defences, including aviation units, surface-to-air missile forces, electronic warfare units, mobile strike teams, and other air defence systems, have managed to neutralise or suppress 88 drones as of 08:00 local time on February 4.
The drones targeted 14 locations, with debris reported falling at five sites. Ukrainian officials said the assault is ongoing, and Russian UAVs remain active in the country’s airspace.
