Opposition party: No Armenian citizen demands to send sons to serve in Karabakh
Press secretary of the opposition Republican Party of Armenia Eduard Sharmazanov has said that conscripts from Armenia have not been sent to the Karabakh region for one year and a half, and this was done at Azerbaijan’s demand.
“During this period, no Armenian citizen demanded to send sons to serve in Karabakh,” Sharmazanov said at a meeting with journalists on July 25, Caliber.Az reports with reference to the Armenian media.
“We should protect our homeland. So how will we do it? The authorities of the "NKR" have imposed the rest of Karabakh on Russia," Sharmazanov stressed.
The Armenian current authorities are unable to ensure the security of the country and promote the national idea and culture.
“They are classic neo-Bolsheviks,” the opposition member said.
