President Erdogan: Türkiye agrees to supply Russian flour to poor countries

Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan has said that he had reached an agreement with Russian leader Vladimir Putin on processing and sending Russian grain to poor countries.

“We discussed with Mr. Putin the initiative to send grain to poor countries. We agree to carry out such work. We have agreed that we will be able to send Russian grain processed into flour to poor countries,” President Erdogan said at a press conference after the talks in Sochi, TASS reports.

President Erdogan also welcomed Qatar’s involvement in this work.
