Protocol on mutual entry and exit of Uzbek, Kazakh citizens through ID card comes into force
The Protocol on amendments to the Agreement on the mutual arrival and departure of citizens between the Government of Uzbekistan and the Government of Kyrgyzstan has entered into force.
On August 25 of this year, the Protocol on amendments to the Agreement on the mutual arrival and departure of citizens between the Government of Uzbekistan and the Government of Kyrgyzstan (city of Bishkek, January 27, 2023) came into force, Kun.uz reports citing Uzbek MIA.
In accordance with the changes introduced by the Protocol, a simplified single procedure for crossing the State border was introduced for citizens of the two countries.
In particular, from now on, citizens of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan can enter, move, and stay in the territories of the two countries with an ID card for up to 60 days.
