Pundit Bozoyan: Washington to promote Baku’s conditions

The United States tends to always rely on the strong side of the conflict in its position.

“When we won the first Karabakh war and tried to consolidate it on the diplomatic field, the United States assisted us. Why? Because we were the strong side, and they always strive to support the strong side, this is the concept of their policy,” Bozoyan said, commenting on the statement of the US Ambassador to Armenia on Karabakh on the air of the Conceptual Platform program, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Armenian media.

“Such a position of the United States is quite understandable: it is necessary to negotiate and look for a common language with the strong side since the weak side is not able to play a key role and influence the situation. Therefore, Azerbaijan is now a US priority, and Washington will seek to resolve the conflict by taking into account its interests and in the conditions of fulfilling its conditions. Having suffered a defeat in the war, Armenia has lost its leverage in the US,” he said.
