Road to victory: Azerbaijani presidential aide's first briefings on counter-offensive VIDEO

Azerbaijan is marking the fifth anniversary of the counter-offensive operation launched on September 27, 2020, in response to large-scale Armenian provocations — an operation that ultimately led to victory in the 44-day war.

From the first days of the operation, the government placed a strong emphasis on keeping the public informed through briefings by the Defence Ministry and other relevant agencies.

The first briefings by Presidential Assistant and Head of the Foreign Policy Department Hikmet Hajiyev and Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, remain among the most memorable moments on the road to victory.
