Russia increases egg imports from Türkiye, Azerbaijan

Türkiye supplied 1.5 million edible eggs to Russia by January 25.

The next batch of 316.8 thousand pieces was imported through the Yarag-Kazmalyar checkpoint, Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision (Rosselkhoznadzor) told Interfax.

Türkiye began supplying eggs to the Russian Federation on January 3 this year.

Russia also imports eggs from Azerbaijan. As of January 11, 3.3 million eggs were imported. Azerbaijan began deliveries in December 2023.
