Russia to send additional rescue team to quake-hit Türkiye

Russia's Minister of Civil Defence, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters Alexander Kurenkov has instructed to send an additional group of rescuers to earthquake-hit Türkiye.

The rescuers are currently getting readied for the flight, Gazeta.Ru quotes the ministry’s press service as saying.

On February 8, Russian Emergencies Minister’s Advisor Daniel Martynov said that a second convoy of rescuers could soon be sent to reinforce the group in Türkiye.
