Russia unveils reason for plane crash in Afghanistan
The Russian Investigative Committee has said that engine failure is a priority version of the crash in Afghanistan of a Falcon 10 aircraft with Russians on board.
Investigators are currently conducting searches and seizing relevant documents. The ministry confirmed the rescue of two pilots and two medical workers. The assistance is rendered to them. Measures are being taken to transport them to Moscow, according to Oreanda News.
As a result of the plane crash, two 65-year-old and 66-year-old passengers did not survive.
On January 23, it was reported that the pilot of the aircraft, Arkady Grachev, faces criminal liability for an accident. The Athletic Group company, which has the crashed aircraft on its balance sheet, did not have a license for passenger transportation. To legalise flights, the aviators used Jet Aero LLC, which is owned by Grachev himself and co-pilot Dmitry Belyakov.
The accident occurred on January 20 during a flight from Thailand to Moscow.
