Putin holds security council meeting on regional security issues
Russian President Vladimir Putin convened a meeting with the permanent members of the Security Council of the Russian Federation to discuss pressing regional security matters.
According to a statement from the Kremlin press service, Putin opened the session by highlighting the focus on regional policies aimed at ensuring and addressing security challenges, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.
“Dear colleagues, today we will discuss certain issues on the regional agenda, specifically regional policies in relation to ensuring and resolving security concerns,” Putin said during the operational meeting with Security Council members.
Following his remarks, the President invited the heads of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Federal Security Service, Vladimir Kolokoltsev and Alexander Bortnikov, to present their reports.
