Russian, Azerbaijani presidents to meet at CIS summit in Kyrgyzstan

Russian President Vladimir Putin plans to hold a meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev at the CIS summit in Kyrgyzstan.

“I will meet with President Aliyev within the CIS summit in Kyrgyzstan,” the Russian president said at the plenary session of the Russian Energy Week, TASS reports.

“In particular, the leaders of the countries plan to discuss the construction of the International North-South Transport Corridor. Azerbaijan has many current problems, but no one is abandoning this project,” the Russian leader added.
