Russian businessman estimates his assets at $500 million

The assets of Russian politician and businessman Mikhail Khodorkovsky living abroad have been unveiled.

“The assets reach about $500 million,” RBC reports referring to an interview with the Financial Times.

He noted that if he could, then he would have done a lot differently in the 1990s, but he was already tired of discussing this period of his life.

The businessman also stood against the EU imposition of an embargo on Russian oil, pointing out that the introduction of duties would not provoke an increase in prices.

“The ban on the transfer of technologies to Russia has a "great impact on the cost of oil production," he said.
