Russian MP: Pashinyan leads Armenia along Ukrainian path
In a recent statement on his Telegram channel, leader of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia Leonid Slutsky highlighted the shifting geopolitical dynamics in Eastern Europe.
"Against the backdrop of Kyiv's failures in the collective West's proxy war, Washington and Brussels are looking for new anti-Russian 'testing grounds'... Westerners' eyes have increasingly begun to fall first on Moldova and then on Armenia," the LDPR leader wrote, noting that the situation is becoming more obvious as the Armenia-United States-EU format develops, Vesti.ru reported.
According to Slutsky, the "support and assistance" of Euro-Atlantic "hawks" are attempts to revive the "plan" to weaken the Russian Federation at the expense of the national interests of the Armenian people and with the prospect of destabilization in the South Caucasus.
"This kind of "help" turns out to be the loss of sovereignty, civil wars and civilian casualties," - concluded the head of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, noting that the desire of the citizens of these two countries to repeat the "Ukrainian option" is a question.
