22 April 2022 09:32
California-based SpaceX launched a Falcon 9 rocket on Thursday, carrying another 53 mini-satellites for its Starlink orbital internet network. The broadcast is conducted on the company's website.
The carrier with tail number B1060 was launched from the spaceport at Cape Canaveral (Florida) at 13:51 local time. Its first stage has already been used for 11 other launches since June 30, 2020, when a military GPS navigation satellite was launched into orbit. It is expected that approximately 9 minutes after launch, it will automatically descend onto a floating platform called Just Read the Instructions (“Just read the instructions”), located in the Atlantic Ocean, 650 km from the coast of South Carolina.
