Switzerland to invest in Azerbaijani small business project

The Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) has decided to finance the project "Finance and Consulting for Small Business" in Azerbaijan.

SECO will provide 2 million Swiss francs (about $2.25 million) for the project to be implemented by 2027, Report informs, citing Switzerland’s embassy in Baku.

The project will be implemented through the Small Business Impact Fund (SBIF) of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and aims at supporting small and medium-sized enterprises with consultancy and result-oriented financing.
