Tashkent exhibition features "Made in Azerbaijan" products, traditional crafts PHOTO
An exhibition titled "Key Areas of the Economy – A Step Towards Joint Prosperity" has been organized at the UzExpoCentre in the capital of Uzbekistan, Tashkent.
The exhibition, organized by the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO) and supported by the Ministry of Economy, is dedicated to showcasing Azerbaijan's economic potential, domestic products, and services provided in the country, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Ministry of Economy.
The exhibition was attended by delegations from Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, led by Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov and Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade Laziz Kudratov.
The exhibition, adorned with four magnificent fortresses reflecting Azerbaijan's rich architectural heritage, is divided into several thematic blocks.
The exhibition features displays showcasing Azerbaijan's economic achievements, industrial and agricultural products, work done in the field of digital development, opportunities in the transport-logistics, energy, and tourism sectors, implemented innovative projects, the COP29 event, and videos highlighting Azerbaijani-Uzbek economic relations. Visitors can also learn about the process of restoring liberated territories, with presentations on projects for the construction of settlements and infrastructure.
The exhibition presents food products under the "Made in Azerbaijan" brand, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, canned goods, honey, confectionery, building materials, and other products.
A special focus is given to traditional textiles. Handmade items from various Azerbaijani carpet-weaving schools are displayed, and visitors are provided with information about the traditional art of carpet weaving.
The exhibition will run until August 23.
