Azerbaijan expresses readiness to boost joint ventures with Vietnam
Azerbaijan is committed to strengthening economic cooperation with Vietnam, particularly through the creation of joint ventures and deeper engagement between the business communities of both countries.
Executive Director of the Export and Investment Promotion Agency of Azerbaijan (AZPROMO) Yusif Abdullayev made the remarks during a meeting of the Azerbaijan-Vietnam Business Council and a business forum held in Hanoi, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
Abdullayev highlighted the textile sector as a key area of interest for bilateral collaboration. According to him, Azerbaijani and Vietnamese companies have already begun holding virtual meetings to explore opportunities in cotton product exports. The companies have exchanged catalogs and are currently evaluating the potential for trade and cooperation.
AZPROMO, Abdullayev added, remains committed to supporting these initiatives in alignment with the strategic priorities of Azerbaijani businesses.
He also noted a positive trend in trade relations, reporting that bilateral trade turnover rose by 5% in the first five months of 2025, reaching $58.4 million.
