Terrorist attack in Somalia kills 25 servicemen

At least 25 military personnel have been killed in a terrorist attack at a training base in Somalia.

A suicide bomber blew himself up at a military academy in Mogadishu's Hodan district on July 24 morning, Anadolu reports, citing Somalia's Defence Ministry.

The attack killed 25 military personnel and wounded about 60.

An investigation has been launched.

The Al-Shabab terrorist organisation has claimed responsibility for the attack.
