Turkish Navy conducts search, rescue exercises off Libya coast PHOTO
The Turkish Navy frigate TCG Gemlik has carried out search and rescue training exercises off the coast of Libya.
As part of the Turkish Navy’s Task Force mission, the frigate participated in the drills that involved helicopter search and rescue operations, Turkish Ministry of National Defence shared a post on its X account, Caliber.Az reports.

The exercises aimed to enhance the capabilities of the Turkish Navy in conducting maritime search and rescue missions.
The training included a series of coordinated activities between the frigate and the helicopters, focusing on improving techniques for locating and aiding vessels in distress.
