Türkiye detains 67 organised crime suspects in 17 provinces VIDEO
Turkish authorities have launched a large-scale crackdown on an organised crime syndicate, conducting simultaneous raids across 17 provinces, with the operation coordinated from the northwestern city of Bursa.
Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya shared the announcement on his X account, writing that gendarmerie teams detained 67 individuals suspected of involvement in criminal activities, including the alleged ringleader identified by the initials A.A.O., Caliber.Az reports.

The sweeping operation led to the arrest of 38 suspects, while 28 others were placed under judicial control. Legal procedures for the remaining individuals are still underway.
During the raids, law enforcement officers seized a significant cache of unlicensed firearms, 52 luxury wristwatches valued at nearly 100 million Turkish liras, gold and jewellery worth around 42 million liras, as well as a large number of valuable documents and digital materials, Yerlikaya added.
