Türkiye detemined to achieve negotiations between Russia, Ukraine
Türkiye will continue to make efforts to organize negotiations between Russia and Ukraine to resolve the Ukrainian crisis, said Turkish Presidential Aide Ibrahim Kalin.
Kalin made remarks in an interview with Al Jazeera on December 4.
“Given the emerging realities, it is unlikely that this [negotiations] will happen immediately, but we believe that it is possible and we will continue to work on it,” Kalin said.
According to him, Türkiye, which maintains close relations with Russia and Ukraine, is not interested in the continuation of the conflict in Ukraine.
“On the contrary, we are telling everyone that regional peace and stability will be in everyone's interest, so let's look for a solution. And we will continue to work in this direction,” Kalin said.
