The preparation for the operation has already been completed, the journalists said, according to Türkiye’s TGRT Haber.
About 50,000 Turkish servicemen and 5,000 Free Syrian Army fighters are planned to be involved in the operation, the local media reports citing military sources.
Türkiye’s new operation will cover the districts of Syria’s Tal Rifaat and Manbij cities. All groups involved in this operation are ready for the beginning of hostilities. Mechanized, armored and artillery units took their positions. The order for the operation has not yet been received, but the president can give it at any time.
