Türkiye to keep backing Azerbaijan's just struggle

Türkiye’s National Defence Minister Hulusi Akar has said that his country will continue to support the just struggle of its friends, brothers and allies, especially Azerbaijan, Cyprus and Libya.

"We are contributing to peace in the region and around the world. We have decided to further strengthen the position of our country. I hope we will be able to do so. We are determined in this matter," Anadolu quotes the minister as saying.

Akar said Türkiye’s armed forces will continue to protect the country's borders and fight terrorism.

"We will continue to produce our own planes and tanks and commission the Kizil Elma. The Turkish Armed Forces have technological capabilities and advantages that very few armies in the world have," he added.
