UEFA: Azerbaijan rises one spot in club rankings

Azerbaijan has improved its position in the UEFA club rankings, moving up one place, local media reported on 22 January.

The rise comes following Qarabağ’s 3-2 victory over German club Eintracht Frankfurt in the seventh round of the UEFA Champions League group stage. The win added 0.500 ranking points to Azerbaijan’s total, bringing the country’s coefficient to 22.750 and placing it 27th in the table.

England remains top of the UEFA rankings with a coefficient of 106.991.
