UEFA Nations League: Azerbaijan beats Slovakia in away game

The national men's football team of Azerbaijani have played the next group stage game in the UEFA Nations League.

The national team won 2-1 against their rivals from Slovakia in the away game held at the Štadión Antona Malatinského in the city of Trnava on September 21, Caliber.Az reports.

After the victory, the Azerbaijani team totalled its points to 7 and climbed to second place in the third group of League C. Slovakia is in third place with 6 points, while Belarus sits at the bottom with 2 points.

The national team of Azerbaijan will face off the team Kazakhstan in the group's next game in Baku on September 25.
