Zangezur Corridor opens new opportunities for Azerbaijan-Central Asia cooperation — president's aide PHOTO OF HISTORICAL DOCUMENT
The Zangezur Corridor is set to unlock significant prospects for economic, trade, and transport-logistics cooperation within the framework of the newly adopted “Azerbaijan + Central Asia” platform.
The statement was made by Hikmet Hajiyev, the Azerbaijani president's aide, in a conversation with journalists, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
Hajiyev also expressed deep gratitude to fraternal Uzbekistan for supporting Azerbaijan’s full membership in the format of Consultative Meetings of Central Asian States.
“Azerbaijan holds Uzbekistan in high regard. We take pride in our shared culture and values. We are confident that the friendship and brotherhood between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan will continue to strengthen. The leaders of our countries set an excellent example in this regard,” he emphasised.
In addition, Caliber.Az presents a document shared by Hikmet Hajiyev on social media confirming Azerbaijan's acceptance as a full member of the Consultative Meeting of Heads of State of Central Asia.
