Pashinyan lashes out at Russian peacekeepers over events on Lachin road

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has said that the Russian peacekeepers were not fulfilling their de-facto obligations stated in the trilateral document, namely in terms of control over the, by him referred to as, corridor (Lachin road).

Pashinyan made the remarks during a meeting of the Armenian government on December 22, Caliber.Az reports quoting Armenian media.

"Of course, this happens as a result of Azerbaijan's illegal actions, but the situation does not change from this, as the key point of Russian peacekeepers' presence is to prevent illegal actions", he said.

According to Pashinyan, except for the restoration of the gas supply, the crisis that emerged last week around the Lachin road has not been resolved.
