Protesters on Khankendi-Lachin road very active on 58th day of action
Despite the frosty weather, the protest action on the Khankendi-Lachin road against the illegal exploitation of mineral deposits in Azerbaijan's Karabakh economic region has been going on for 58 days. Eco-activists, as in the first days of the demonstrations, are very active.
The protest that began on the morning of December 12 last year continued on the night of February 7. The participants of the action demonstrate firm will and perseverance, a Report correspondent informs from the scene, Report informs.
They are provided with hot meals and a place to stay overnight. Safety rules are observed during the demonstrations, no incidents were recorded during the night.
Eco-activists traditionally started the day with the performance of Azerbaijan's national anthem and then patriotic songs.
