Erdogan to visit Northern Cyprus, Azerbaijan in first trip since election win

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will make his first overseas visits to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and Azerbaijan since the presidential elections, according to an established state tradition.
The Turkish leader will visit TRNC on Monday, June 12, where he will hold meetings with Turkish Cypriot President Ersin Tatar and Prime Minister Ulal Ustel, Anadolu Agency reported.
There will be an exchange of views on the situation around Cyprus and the Eastern Mediterranean in general.
The discussions will be followed by a working lunch at the residence of the TRNC president. The two leaders will address a joint press conference.
On Tuesday, June 13, the Turkish President will travel to Baku for talks with his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev in a narrow and extended format.
They will exchange views on steps aimed at further deepening relations between the two brotherly countries. The two leaders will also discuss the regional and international agenda.
