Trade turnover between Azerbaijan, Tajikistan increases

Trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Tajikistan in January-October 2023 amounted to $5.183 million (0.1 per cent of the total Azerbaijani foreign trade turnover with CIS countries).

According to the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan, trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Tajikistan in the reporting period of 2023 increased by 26.23 per cent compared to the same period of 2022 ($4.106 million), Trend reports.

Azerbaijani exports to Tajikistan in January-October 2023 amounted to $4.602 million, which is 14.93 percent more than the indicator of the same period of 2022 ($4.4 million).

Azerbaijan’s imports from Tajikistan in the reporting period of 2023 amounted to $581.1 thousand, which is 5.69 times more than the indicator of the same period of 2022 ($102,000).

Azerbaijan's foreign trade turnover in January-October 2023 decreased by 6 per cent or $2.778 billion compared to the same period of 2022 - from $46.299 billion to $43.52 billion.
