Azerbaijan's SOFAZ gets over $78 million in revenues from Shah Deniz field

The revenues of Azerbaijan's State Oil Fund (SOFAZ) from the operation of the Shah Deniz gas condensate field amounted to $78.5 million in the first quarter of this year, having decreased 8.2 times compared to the same period of last year.

The Fund's income from the sale of condensate in the reported period amounted to $15.7 million, a source in SOFAZ told APA.

Last year, SOFAZ's revenues from the Shah Deniz field amounted to $1.308 billion, which is 9.4 per cent less than a year earlier.

From early 2023 to early 2024, the Fund's income from the sale of condensate from the Shah Deniz field amounted to $324.396 million, which means a decline of 1.3 per cent.
