Azerbaijani, Turkish chiefs of General Staff focus on military cooperation

First Deputy Minister of Defence, Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijan Army, Colonel General Karim Valiyev, met with Turkish Chief of the General Staff, Army General Metin Gürak, during his working visit to Türkiye to attend the EFES-2024 multinational exercise.

The meeting focused on the current state of military and military-technical cooperation between Azerbaijan and Türkiye, the ministry told Caliber.Az.

The sides underscored the importance of enhancing the frequency and intensity of joint exercises to facilitate the exchange of military expertise and experience.
