Azerbaijan, Russia discuss situation in South Caucasus
Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Samir Sharifov held consultations with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko in Moscow, addressing the current situation in the South Caucasus and neighbouring regions, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Russian Foreign Ministry press service.
This meeting underscores the ongoing dialogue between Azerbaijan and Russia concerning regional stability and cooperation.
The deputy ministers exchanged views on a range of critical issues, including the roles of the European Union (EU) and NATO in the region, the state of affairs within the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), and the regional activities of the Council of Europe.
In addition to these topics, the discussion covered various bilateral and international issues of mutual interest. The engagement between Sharifov and Grushko highlights the importance both countries place on maintaining dialogue and addressing shared concerns in the South Caucasus.
