Azerbaijan’s National Cybersecurity Agency joins Global Anti-Ccam Alliance

Azerbaijan’s National Cybersecurity Agency (NAC) has joined the Global Anti-Scam Alliance (GASA), an international organisation focused on combating online and digital fraud.

The agency said NAC’s membership in GASA will create new opportunities to expand international cooperation in combating online fraud, study and apply best practices, and promote Azerbaijan’s experience in the field internationally, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.

As part of its membership, NAC will gain access to research and analytical materials on global trends in online fraud, new attack methods, AI-powered fraud schemes, social engineering tactics and financial fraud mechanisms.

NAC will also have the opportunity to participate in GASA working groups focused on studying international practices in preventing online fraud, exchanging information, investigating and combating financial fraud, as well as taking part in joint initiatives.
