ACWA Power to expedite wind farm construction in Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia's ACWA Power have come to an agreement to expedite the development of the 240 MW Khizi-Absheron wind farm.

Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov shared the news on Twitter after meeting with ACWA Power's chairman Mohammad Abunayyan, Report says.

Shahbazov emphasized that this project signifies a significant collaboration between Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia in the realm of energy transition.

We agreed to accelerate the realization of the 240 MW Khizi-Absheron WPP with the delegation led by Mohammad Abunayyan, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of @ACWAPower.
