ADB prepares partnership strategy with Azerbaijan

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) is working on a partnership strategy with Azerbaijan for the next 3 years.

General Director of ADB's Central and West Asia Regional Department Eugene Zhukov stated this at a meeting with Azerbaijani Finance Minister Samir Sharifov on 3 April, Report informs, citing the Ministry of Finance.

At the meeting, consultations were held on the current status and future areas of cooperation between Azerbaijan and ADB, and future lending programmes for projects based on the sustainability of the country's economic development and government priorities were considered.

The parties also discussed other issues of mutual interest.
