ADY Express significantly increases cargo transportation to Uzbekistan
The subsidiary of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC, ADY Express LLC, has transported over 95,000 tons of cargo to and from Uzbekistan in 2021, and this figure approached 220,000 tons in 10 months of 2022.
According to the information, more than 98 per cent of the transported goods were in transit. The share of export cargo from Uzbekistan accounts for about 200,000 tons of transported cargo, the rest falls on imported cargo. Transportation in both directions was carried out on the Caspian Sea, Report informs, citing Azerbaijan Railways CJSC.
During the year, ADDI Express employees took part in a number of important events held in Uzbekistan and established ties with the business circles of this country. As a result, the volume of cargo transportation to and from this country has increased.
