African representatives to join agricultural innovation forum in Baku
More than 60 representatives and businesspeople from 11 African countries are expected to participate in the 3rd International Forum on Agricultural Innovation, which will be held in Baku on May 7.
The forum, announced by Sevda Hajiyeva of the Center for Agricultural Innovation under Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Agriculture, will take place as part of Caspian Agro Week, on the third day of the 19th Azerbaijan International Agricultural Exhibition and Forum, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
According to Hajiyeva, the event will feature several panel discussions, including one dedicated to opportunities for African-Azerbaijani cooperation in agribusiness, the food industry, and logistics, with participation from African delegations.
Another panel will focus on digitalisation and artificial intelligence in the agricultural sector, reflecting broader efforts to promote innovation and international collaboration in agriculture.
